Whistler Rides INC. Current actions regarding COVID-19

Dear passenger(s) valued customer(s) as a frequent traveler with Whistler Rides INC and its branches, you trust us to not only take you where you need to go but to do so safely, comfortably, and responsibly. Today, as the world comes to terms with an unprecedented health scare in COVID-19 (Coronavirus), these values are more important to us than ever. Therefore, we’d like to take this opportunity to share some insight into the different steps that we are taking to guarantee that our rides continue to meet and exceed the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Service Commitment Whistler Rides INC will continue to provide services during this emergency as the transportation of our communities is incredibly important.

Safety & hygiene Before each departure, our buses are always thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with and approved chemical steam selected following the EPA guidance from the American CDC, and chosen from the list of products that kill COVID. These procedures are designed to the highest standards and include both your personal space - tray tables, seat armrests and headrests, seat-belt buckles, etc. – as well as communal areas such as the galleys, and cargo compartments.

During Transport, Passengers will be socially distanced, that is why the increment in our pricing, as we are only selling half amount of the seating capacity in the bus, to give you the space of seat next to you and in front of you, masks will be provided to passengers who request them, included in the ticket pricing, as it is our priority to ensure that all measures to minimize the risk are being taken.

Once on the road, our driver works diligently to keep our buses clean. The action is that air in the cabin is continuously refreshed with outside air by opening windows, even it could be cold, it is for safety more than comfort we will balance this with artificial heat from inside, we will allow drivers authority under a decision of a manager, to deny boarding to any suspicious individual. This is effective in preventing the spread of airborne bacterial and viral organisms such as COVID-19.

We fully understand the hesitation many people feel at the moment when deciding whether to book a ride or not. But you can feel secure in the knowledge that Whistler Rides INC has taken every precaution necessary to protect your health and the health of your loved ones. In this emotional time, you can be assured that we are guided and consistently act by fact-based, circumstance-driven decision making. On a daily basis, we get reliable feedback from people who work closely with the top experts at the World Health Organization and Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) in the Netherlands, COFEPRIS in the Federal District, Comisión Federal para la Protección contra Riesgos Sanitarios located in Mexico City, as well with the information provided by Center for Disease and Control from the Government of Canada.
